On 4 July 2026, the Foreign Investment Portal will add new features to make submissions and compliance reports easier to lodge.

What is changing

The update improves how users:

• update investor owner details within a submission
• view total ownership percentages and fix errors
• create an agreement when adding a target
• provide information required by the Australian Taxation Office
• review a new submission summary page for Exemption Certificates.
